Douglas Schorpp, AIF®, is President of Schorpp Capital Management, an independent registered investment advisory firm.  Schorpp Financial Planning started in 1994 and changed its name in 2004 to Schorpp Capital Management.  Schorpp Capital Management is located in East Brunswick, NJ. Doug brings more than 20 years of experience as an investment professional who has managed all aspects of multi-asset positions.  He directly counsels and advises clients on Wealth Management and Financial Planning, and is responsible for analyzing the client's financial picture, preparing recommendations and strategies that strive to help clients in reaching their financial goals.

Doug graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from The College of New Jersey. His first position out of college was as an engineer with the United States Steel Corporation.  Doug's career in the financial markets started as an equity trader on Wall Street during the early 1990's and soon after decided to make the change to become an independent advisor.  He has been married since 1990 to his wife Liz and has three adult children Mike, Cara and Matt, as well as a daughter-in-law Jenn and a beautiful granddaughter Althea. When not working, Doug spends his free time with the family and enjoys golf and fishing.

Wayne Schorpp, CFP, CPA-PFS, is Vice President of Schorpp Capital Management, an independent registered investment advisory firm. Wayne graduated with a degree in accounting from Rutgers University and quickly joined a private accounting firm after college. Wayne purchased that same private accounting firm within a few years and re-established it as Schorpp Tax and Accounting and has been growing it since that time. He acquired his CFP (Certified Financial Planner) credential in 1992 and developed a financial planning practice that has become Schorpp Capital Management. Wayne has been married for 35 years to Ruth and has two adult children Kristen and Wayne Jr. In his free time he spends time at the Jersey Shore with his family and gets in a few rounds of golf every now and then.

Ilona Saxe, Client Services Manager, has been in the investment and financial planning industry for over 25 years and has extensive experience in office management, client services, and human resources. Currently Ilona, known to many as Lonnie, handles Schorpp Capital Management's daily contact with clients, finding out what their needs are, keeping them abreast of changes, status of transactions, and compliance maintenance. Her primary objective is to continually make all clients know that their concerns and business is important to Schorpp Capital Management.  Lonnie is the liason between the needs of the advisors and clients and establishing loyal and satisfied professional relationships.
